Import of the Machinery & Electronics Products

1) An import unit should execute the import registration before it has signed a contract with the foreign partner;

2) The import unit should go to the Administrative Commission of NHZ to get the <<Application Form for Importing the Machinery & Electronics Products>>, and fill in the Form according to the requirement;

3) Examination and verification conducted by the relevant departments under the Administrative Commission of NHZ;

4) To grant the << Registration Form for Importing the Machinery & Electronics Products>> to the import unit, after having passed the examination and verification conducted by Nanjing Municipal Machinery & Electronics Products Import & Export Office under the Nanjing Municipal Economic and Trade Commission;

5) The departments of the foreign exchange control administration and the bank supply the foreign currencies to the import unit according to the <<Registration Form for Importing the Machinery & Electronics Products>>;

6) The customs examination and clearance will be conducted according to the <<Registration Form for Importing the Machinery & Electronics Products>>.
